USING DICTOGLOSS TECHNIQUE FOR IMPROVING LISTENING COMPREHENSION OF EIGHTH GRADERS IN SMP TRI DHARMA PALEMBANG

Listening is one of the skills that needed to be integrated in an effective way for teaching and learning English successful. A technique called Dictogloss was used this research find out significant improvement on listening comprehension perception students’ toward dictogloss SMP Tri Dharma Palembang eighth graders academic year 2021/2022. Quantitative method by researcher namely pre-experimental design which only class. As data source, test questionnaire were research. The pre-test post-test taken from experimental group whether Technique improve grade student’s at Palembang. And determine perceptions listening. results showed class improved as indicated scores. It means t-obtain bigger than t-table (25.789 > 2.024) value Sig.(2-tailed) 0.000 < 0.05, null hypothesis (Ho) rejected alternative (Ha) accepted so there any who taught Dictogloss. Meanwhile mean score 73,44 a positive because result higher 60. In short, use skill suggested teachers
